Το Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου ανέθεσε στην Ήβη Αδάμου την εκπροσώπηση της Κύπρου στον Διαγωνισμό Τραγουδιού της Eurovision 2012 που θα διεξαχθεί στο Μπακού του Αζερμπαϊτζάν στις 22, 24 και 26 Μαΐου 2012.
Τη Δευτέρα 9 Ιανουαρίου 2012, η ώρα 11.00πμ το ΡΙΚ διοργανώνει δημοσιογραφική διάσκεψη στη Δημοσιογραφική Εστία στη Λευκωσία, για να παρουσιάσει τα τρία υποψήφια τραγούδια για τη συμμετοχή της Κύπρου στην Eurovision 2012 στους εκπρόσωπους των ΜΜΕ.

Η επιλογή του τραγουδιού που θα εκπροσωπήσει την Κύπρο στο Μπακού θα γίνει στις 25 Ιανουαρίου 2012 με τηλεψηφοφορία από τηλεοπτικό κοινό και επιτροπή στο πλαίσιο ζωντανής εκπομπής, η οποία θα μεταδοθεί απευθείας στις 9.00 το βράδυ από το ΡΙΚΕΝΑ, με ταυτόχρονη μετάδοση στη δορυφορική εκπομπή του ΡΙΚ και το Τρίτο Πρόγραμμα Ραδιοφώνου.
